Modern treatment planning systems can compute dose volume histogram curves and specify inverse planning objectives, but they don’t overlay real dose tolerance limits onto the DVH curves to optimize evaluation of the plan. DVH Evaluator is the first QA software package FDA 510(k) cleared to fill this need.
DOSE TOLERANCE LIMIT COMPARISONS ARE NOW CONVENIENT AND COMPREHENSIVE
The DVH Evaluator plots the DVH data from a radiation therapy TPS along with dose tolerance limits specified by the user. If the dose to any contoured critical anatomical structure exceeds any of the tolerance limits, warnings are displayed on the plots. This enables clinical users to conveniently and comprehensively compare treatment plans to the user-specified dose tolerance limits.
To further maximize thoroughness and efficiency, all specified dose limits to any selected structures are displayed simultaneously.

OVERVIEW: The DVH Evaluator also offers The Follow-up Evaluator as an additional module which
conveniently enables the physicians to record any response or symptom that the patient experiences, either
prior to or following treatment. This data is stored in the same database along with the DVH data for each
patient for subsequent analysis. This will enable convenient offline feedback to assess whether the dose
tolerance limits are optimal for each clinic.
