We have received many inquiries regarding the support of the Varian RapidArc VMAT planning solution as well as other VMAT planning solutions. Currently RadCalc does support RapidArc however the process is not yet fully automated. The current release of RadCalc, 6.0, has yet to be verified in its ability to support other VMAT solutions such as Pinnacle SmartArc solution.

We will soon release a more robust solution for you that will fully support Varian RapidArc as well as other VMAT planning solutions. We expect to have a new licensed module to support these plans in February/March 2010. In a previous announcement, we discussed our initial intent to offer these features as part of a normal upgrade. Instead we will be releasing these features as part of a more robust module than we had originally planned and designed. This new module will not only provide rich functionality in its first release, but will also provide a foundation for possible future enhancements to RadCalc.
