| RadCalc Version 5.0 Has Been Released
RadCalc Version 5.0 has been released today and will be supported on the following Microsoft Windows platforms: Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. If you have an active service contract, you will receive an email announcing the availabilty of the new release either by download or by mail including a new hardcopy of the manual.
This version of RadCalc will provide enhanced features for electron calculations. These will include the following:
1. The ability to draw blocks and have RadCalc compute a cutout factor from the outline.
2. The ability to do an EZ Electron calculation.
3. The ability to do a Diode calculation for electrons and have electron diode correction factors.
Aside from the enhancements for electrons, RadCalc will also have the following enhancements:
1. More advanced machine import and export capabilities.
2. The ability to draw blocks or define a “flash” line for photon calculations.
3. Additional preferences that have been requested.
4. The ability to save the EZ Photon and Electron calculations.
